Dino has been committed to the immigrant rights through his academic work, volunteering, and activism. He believes that we have to embrace, not denigrate immigrants. We have to treat them with dignity, respect, and humanity from the moment they come to our countries.
Dino will continue to advocate for:
- More comprehensive immigration reforms and regulations to treat every person with dignity.
- Immigrant integration by supporting the creation of national offices for providing help, consulting, citizenship, education and integration services for all immigrants, no matter where they come from.
- Increasing access to language programs for a faster integration of immigrants in the community and into the labor market.
- Fair and regulated background checks of all people crossing national borders.
- Providing access to health care to all immigrants and their families.
- Have better control over the Immigration Enforcement making sure that it is effective and humane, and that its work is in accordance with law regulations.
- Creating a better system which will not separate children from their parents.
- Giving people a chance to seek asylum.
