In almost every country of the world, the costs of living are going up, paychecks aren’t keeping up to pay the bills and to put food on the table, and the rules keep being written to benefit corporations, elites, and wealthiest members of societies.
It is not acceptable in the 21st century that younger generations will have a lower standard of living than their parents.
Dino believes that we need to fight for working families and to start rebuilding middle classes by:
• Increasing paychecks.
• Decreasing the cost of living, especially for young families.
• Fighting racism, sexism, and corporate favoritism in every economy.
• Providing a tax credit for people who are spending more than 25% and more of their income on rent and utilities.
• Enacting childcare and pre-kindergarten program.
• Guaranteeing women equal pay as men.
• Guaranteeing all workers paid family leave and sick leave, paid medical leave and vacation.
• Government investing in affordable housing for families and youth, helping them start their own independent lives.
• Helping youth with student debt.
